'Brighton Death Forum' action team meeting.

Thursday 8th December, 4pm-7pm at the Friends Meeting House, Ship Street

The aim of this meeting is to harness the enthusiasm of our launch and work out what people would like to contribute as we stretch the forum out further into the public domain.

There have been some kind and exciting offers of help already - and we want to get together with all those who would like to be ACTIVELY INVOLVED in improving the way of death in Brighton with us!

Perhaps you would like to run a workshop by sharing creative skills, or helping people how to structure a ceremony, or share tips on running a successful crowd-funding campaign to cover funeral costs?

Can you share your perspective or a personal experience? Do you have contacts or ideas for how we can get broader press coverage of this important conversation?

Brighton Death Forum proudly presents

Departures - a moving celebration of life through showing reverence for death.

Tuesday 1st November
6pm at The Duke of York's Cinema

Join us for our launch party - there will be an introduction and the film will be followed by a Q&A with local funeral directors and founders of Brighton Death Forum Cara Mair (ARKA) and Tora Colwill (The Modern Funeral).

Ask us anything about about death, dying, and funerals. We have practical information about cost-effective, self-help, and home funerals. The event will be followed by a drinks reception in the bar.
